Dr. Tunishai Ford (Dr.T) is a multi-gifted international
motivational speaker, life coach, teacher, preacher, licensed
ordained evangelist, published poet and author. In addition to
her many titles she has been called courageous, an overcomer
and a future “World Changer”. Her life challenges and triumphs
has motivated her to share with others a hope of overcoming
present circumstances through acquiring realistic goals and
pursuing them through the spiritual and practical teachings of
God’s word. Dr. T's commitment to teaching has given her 16
years of experience working with women, men and youth.
Dr. Tunishai Ford (Dr.T) is also the author of a book entitled, “I
Miss the Hugs, but not the Hurts”. This is her first self-
published book. It is the first of many, which is a provocative
saga and teaching tool that encourages healing and restoration
from toxic and co-dependent relationships. It illustrates how to
avoid falling into self-destructive behavior in relationships,
develop self-love, have acceptance for yourself and ultimately
being ready for your soul mate. Dr. Tunishai Ford teaches that
this is foundation to achieve true happiness.
Dr.T’s greatest achievement and commission, is to share her
story of triumph over Hodgkin’s disease (cancer of the
lymphatic system) which when she was diagnosed, she was in
the fourth and last stage of the illness. “The Lord gave me a
message when I was first diagnosed with cancer.” He said,
“This Is a Comma in Your Life, Not a Period”, which is the title
of her second book. She was miraculously healed from the
cursed deadly/fatal affliction of cancer. As you take this
journey with her through her life changing ordeal, she tells
about her remarkable reprieve from a death sentence and gives
the reader hope and faith to overcome their life challenges. The
title as well as the content is definitely captivating, inspiring &
life changing!!
Dr. Tunishai Ford presently holds an doctorate in divinity from
Destiny Christian University in Winter Haven, Florida, a M.A.
in Pastoral Ministries from Ashland Theological Seminary. She
also completed two years of Ministers Training School at
Jubilee Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Ellis
Smith. In addition to her ministerial training, Dr. Ford has a B.
A. degree in Psychology from the University of Detroit as well
as a counseling certificate for crisis intervention counseling
from William Tyndale College. She graduated with honors from
St. Mary’s of Redford High School. Her professional training
includes workshops from R.E.S.A. Training Institute for the
Detroit Board of Education including such topics as different
learning styles and teaching Civic Awareness. Dr. Tunishai
Ford is very well rounded & sincere about helping others live
their lives to the fullest.
